From the apartment, you can easily explore highlights such as the Lysefjord Panorama Trail, Flørli, Kjerag and many other hiking and outdoor experiences in the region. The area is also perfect for kayaking, biking, fishing, boat trips and fjord cruises. Stavanger is within easy reach, and many guests choose to spend one day of their stay exploring the city.

Perfectly Located in Jørpeland
The apartment is located in Jørpeland, just 10 minutes from the Preikestolen trailhead and around 25 minutes from Stavanger. Stavanger Airport Sola and the Risavika ferry terminal are both within easy driving distance, and free parking is available directly outside the apartment. Travelling by public transport is also possible: bus 100 from Stavanger stops by the main road below the apartment, about a 10-minute walk away. With hiking, fjord cruises, kayaking, cycling and local attractions nearby, Jørpeland is a convenient base for exploring the Lysefjord region. In the apartment, guests will find maps, brochures and books with tips for planning their stay. We are also always happy to share more information about attractions and activities in the area.

Welcome to Our Holiday Apartment
We are Loes from Belgium and Johannes from the Netherlands. Johannes has lived in Norway since 2006 and has a background in outdoor life, tourism and nature guiding. After running his own guiding company in the Lysefjord region for seven years, he now works with tourism development and is involved in projects such as the development of new hiking trails. Loes has lived in Norway since 2014 and holds a master’s degree in sports science. She has worked as a volleyball coach in both Belgium and Norway and is currently a physical education teacher at a local secondary school. Together, we have three children, and as a family we love spending time outdoors. In recent summers, we have taken several cycling holidays with our children, exploring different parts of Norway by bike. We lived in the apartment ourselves for five years before moving just a few hundred metres away. We know the area well, use it actively ourselves, and love it when guests take the time to explore the Lysefjord region. We are always happy to share tips about hikes, viewpoints, family-friendly activities and other local experiences.
